Lunch Invitation

Yesterday was so exhausted after a long journey to Muscat. Reached home at nearly 7.20pm and tomorrow noon, we invited an Omani family to come over our house for lunch. Called his wife to come over.. remember a man that responsible in helping me with my driving license? yeah.. his family..

I cooked chicken rice, bedegil, cucur udang while my friend cooked apple cake. We agreed to cook at her house while our guests will have their lunch in my house. Beside cooking and preparing lunch for them, we wanted to do extra for Dr faeza and family. Friday is a mother's day in Arab's countries and we wanted to give something for her and kids.

We cooked these seem like 3..4 families are coming right?

Our guests came at 2 sharp only his wife, maid and kids were here except husband was not here. This was because their culture is not allow a man to come to the house that have only women unless there are men around. Mmmmm... at least we learned new things of their cultures.

His wife named Faeza and she is a teacher. She speakes fluent english as she is an english teacher in primary school and she got 3 kids including twins. Her kids look lovely and very good manner. She brought a big plate of chicken briyani with salad for us. My goodness.. the portion is so huge and I guess I can save it for a stock of 2 weeks for my lunch. Tastes so good!!Im glad they enjoyed the food even they ate so little and at nite we brought for my colleague and her family to taste our food. Thee enjoyed our food so much.. meaning that...My cooking is notthat bad right?
